Chesterton Smart are acting as Project Managers in the delivery of a large first-floor extension at this popular club located in Leicester Road, Groby. The Ex-Servicemen’s club is a popular venue for gatherings and social events in the local area and is highly popular with the local residents.
The new multifunctional extension will be used for a number of different activities including weddings, business seminars, private parties and other undertakings.
The project requires part demolition of the original existing first-floor accommodation. Chesterton Smart have been working with a number of external consultants and a design and build contractor to deliver the scheme. The scheme is expected to be commenced in March 2018 and completed in September 2018. The build will be delivered in phases meaning that parts of the club will be inaccessible during some of the construction phase period.
