The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) survey Reports are user-friendly and easy to understand. They effectively provide you with information on a propertyâs overall condition highlighting any maintenance or more serious repair matters.
The reports are âtechnical jargonâ free and specifically designed to help inform you on matters that will need early attention, those that do not currently need repair or require further investigation.
Using the âtraffic light systemâ. The system designed to gives each element a Condition Rating of either 1, 2 or 3 as shown opposite.

Defects that are serious and/or need to be repaired, replaced, or investigated urgently.
